Our mission is to provide a safe and secure campus environment for our campus community and it’s visitors and to protect the facilities, property, and assets of the Copper Mountain Community College District.

Facilities and Operations coordinates and manages logistics for a wide range of campus events, including student activities, academic conferences, guest lectures, and ceremonies. The team handles all aspects of event planning—scheduling, budgeting, venue setup, vendor coordination, and managing costs for external rentals—to ensure each event runs smoothly and supports the college’s mission and community engagement goals.

For any Facilities and Operations-related inquiries, please contact Crysa Ferro, Operations Assistant, at cferro@cmccd.edu.

Core Values

Our Vision: A Most Excellent Environment

We have over 62,000 square feet of buildings and 122 acres of grounds that we maintain in order to provide you with a safe and healthy learning environment. We have nine permanent staff. Occasionally we offset our personnel with a student worker or a temporary hire, a process that enhances our mission and provides a learned skill to a student.

Our Level of Service

It is our desire to provide you the student, you the faculty, and you the workforce with a most excellent learning, teaching and working environment. Your health and safety is our mission and your success is our goal. Our desire each and every day we come to work is to give you a level of service that is second to none. Everyday is an opportunity to succeed and every day is a chance to say “well done!”
