Big Read Memoir Writing Workshop with Trustee Gilbert and Renee Gurley

Morongo Basin’s NEA Big Read events continue with the Big Read Memoir Writing Workshop with Renee Gurley and CMC Trustee Greg Gilbert, on Saturday, March 16, from 10 a.m. to noon.

Community Education for Spring 2024 begins with the story of the Army’s legendary camel driver

Copper Mountain College’s Community Education program for Spring 2024 begins Wednesday, March 20 with The History of Hi Jolly and the Great Camel Experiment in the Southwest. Other courses beginning in April include Yoga, Intro to Conversational American Sign Language, Knife Skills (with CMC Culinary Arts instructor, Chef Dereck LaGuardia), and A Night on the Old Spanish Trail.

Colorful Mud – A CMC Student Art Show at Corner 62

Colorful Mud is a CMC student art show featuring painting, printmaking, and ceramics, being held off-campus at Corner 62, in Twentynine Palms.  The Opening Reception will be held March 16, from 4 to 7 p.m. at Corner 62, 73552 29 Palms Hwy, Twentynine Palms.
