Marine Corps wreath for Festival of Wreaths 2025.

Join the local tradition that keeps on giving – Copper Mountain College Foundation’s annual Festival of Wreaths.

Started in 2010, Copper Mountain College Foundation’s Festival of Wreaths has evolved into the premier holiday kickoff event of the Morongo Basin. The Bell Center on the CMC campus transforms into a hi-desert winter wonderland the Sunday before Thanksgiving, November 23, 2025.

“The wreaths are not only beautiful to look at and take home, but they’re also beautiful because they support our students,” said CMC Foundation’s Executive Director Sandy Smith. “The festival’s activities not only include the wreath auction, but also a silent auction, a raffle wreath, dessert auction, and holiday card sale with seasonal artwork created by our college students.  This year’s event is more special as it celebrates CMC’s 25th anniversary as an independent California community college.”

This year’s Holiday Card Art Competition at CMC saw student artists Kei Bjork taking the Foundation’s Choice Award and Amber Hertwick taking the President’s Choice Award.  Art by CMC student artists Becky Boyer Whitehurst, Daniel Duron, Amber Hertwick and Hailey Bravo were runners up in the competition.  Holiday cards featuring the student artwork will be available for sale to the public through the CMC Foundation and at the Festival of Wreaths.

With over 70 unique, handcrafted wreaths, trees, centerpieces, baskets, this year’s 16th Annual Festival of Wreaths is shaping up to be the best one yet! Please join us on Sunday, November 23, 2025, for an afternoon of holiday cheer at the Bell Center of Copper Mountain College, 6162 Rotary Way, Joshua Tree.
