It is with deepest regret that the 2020 Copper Mountain College (CMC) Annual Alumni Association Casino Nite has been cancelled. This is the largest fundraiser for the Alumni Association scholarships; however, the Association will still award the 2020-21 scholarships in the coming weeks.

The seven scholarships will be awarded to local high school seniors for a total of $5,400, which will help begin their college careers at CMC this fall. The awardees are: Alexis Carter, Dylan Espinosa, Kale Repasky, and Crystal Sanchez from Black Rock High School; Annie Hilderbrand and Brandon Mejia from Yucca Valley High School; and Amanda Mohn from Twentynine Palms High School.

The Association would like to thank the local businesses that have already aided in recovering some of the money the Casino Nite would have brought in for student scholarships. Cold Stone Creamery and Wonder Electric in Twentynine Palms and Hann Insurance in Yucca Valley have donated 100% of their sponsorship money to these scholarships and we are asking any and all Alumni, College Supporters, and Casino Nite attendees to help us increase the funds for student scholarships.

If you are in a position to help, at whatever level, please do and know that it makes an immense difference in the lives of our students. Thank you in advance for your consideration and we look forward to bringing a fantastic event, the Alumni Association Casino Nite, back in March 2021.
