Parking and driving on Campus is governed by the California Vehicle Code and CMC Board Policy 7190. There is a 10 MPH posted speed limit and parking is only allowed in permitted spaces. Vehicles mechanically unsound and/or left abandoned will be towed at the owner’s expense.

CMC currently does not require a parking permit for students or employees.

Parking Citations & Appeals
Parking citations are payable within 14 days of issuance.
Options:
- Make payment in the Cashier’s Office, only if made within 2 weeks of receiving the citation.
- Pay online at the website listed below. (You will need the citation or the citation number in order to make a payment)
- If you wish to appeal the citation you must do so online and understand that the reply to the appeal will go to the REGISTERED OWNER of the vehicle.

Parking Permits
Parking permits are obtained at time of registration and are issued on an individual basis for each vehicle. Permits can be purchased and obtained at the Cashier’s Office, located in the 300 Quad.
A valid parking permit must be obtained and visible in accordance with the parking regulations prior to parking on campus. Parking is only allowed in the permitted parking areas denoted on the campus map. Parking in any other area on campus is prohibited and subject to citation and/or towing at owner’s expense. The only exception is the single handicap space located just inside the automotive fenced area.
Vehicles parked without a permit or are left on campus for extended periods are subject to fines and towing at owner’s expense.
