Copper Mountain College Greenleaf Library is proud to announce its new Early Childhood Collection of books.

The Early Childhood Education Department recently donated approximately 45 young children’s books to the Library. This acquisition has allowed for a new section in the Library with subject matter ranging from bilingual, culturally diverse, and inclusivity.

“The Greenleaf Library is thrilled to partner with Kim Martin and the Child Development department to create our new Early Childhood Collection. I’m especially gratified that the collection includes Spanish-language books, as well as books depicting people and stories from a range of different cultural and ethnic backgrounds. I’m sure this collection will become a popular and well-used resource for our students,” stated Derek Monypeny, Librarian.

The books will benefit students who need children’s literature for assignments, students who visit with children, students who work at local preschools, and students who do not yet have a local library card.
