Copper Mountain College will recognize its 2020 Graduating Class with a live-streaming commencement on December 12th at 5:00 pm.

For Fall 2019, Spring, and Summer 2020, CMC awarded 296 degrees. Of those, 35 students earned two degrees, 13 students completed three degrees, three students received four degrees, one student completed five degrees, and one student earned six degrees. CMC also awarded 82 certificates of achievement. Of those, 2 graduates received three certificates, and 81 graduates earned certificates along with their degrees.

“It has truly been an extraordinary year at Copper Mountain College, and we cannot be more proud of our student’s grit and determination to graduate under some of the most challenging conditions any of us have seen,” says Dr. Daren Otten, Superintendent/ President. “While it does not look traditional, we are honored to celebrate this milestone with you all and see nothing but a bright future!”

The Commencement Ceremony speakers include: keynote speaker, Dr. Rob Johnstone, President of the National Center for Inquiry & Improvement; faculty speaker, Krystal Avila, General Counselor and Articulation Officer; and honor graduate speaker, Lisa Kordich who earned Associate in Science degrees in Computer Science and Mathematics with highest honors.
