The Copper Mountain Community College District is governed by a five-member Board of Trustees elected by vote of the citizens of the District. A Student Trustee is elected by the student body and is the official representative of the students to the Board. At its monthly meetings, the Board oversees the educational programs, policies, and financial matters of the college.

2026 Board of Trustees Meeting Schedule
Regular Board meetings are held on the second Thursday of each month. All meetings take place in the CMC Community Room at the Bell Center, 6162 Rotary Way in Joshua Tree, California. Meetings will start at 2:00 pm with a Closed Session scheduled early in the agenda. The regular session will begin at 3:00 pm, unless otherwise noted. Board meetings are open to the public.
