The Copper Mountain Community College District is governed by a five-member Board of Trustees elected by vote of the citizens of the District. A Student Trustee is elected by the student body and is the official representative of the students to the Board. At its monthly meetings, the Board oversees the educational programs, policies, and financial matters of the college.

Regular Board meetings are held on the second Thursday of each month. All meetings are held in CMC Community Room at the Bell Center, 6162 Rotary Way in Joshua Tree, California. Meetings will start at 2:00 pm with a Closed Session scheduled early in the meeting. The regular session will begin at 3:00 pm, unless noted differently on the agenda. Board meetings are open to the public. For information regarding board meeting agendas please email Ariana Muñiz.
