California Community Colleges of the Inland Empire will be hosting a free Virtual Transfer fair for all community college students in the Riverside and San Bernardino counties.

The event will take place Tuesday, September 21st, 10:00 am-1:00 pm PDT, and is open to all community college students, faculty, and staff. Over 60 university representatives from institutions representing the University of California (UC), California State University (CSU), in-state private schools, and out-of-state schools will be sharing admissions information for prospective students. Sessions will begin every half-hour throughout the event and participants may choose the sessions to attend.

Cassandra Nafziger, General Counselor/Transfer Center, says, “Transfer fairs are extremely important because they expose students to a variety of university options. Students get the opportunity to hear about these options directly from undergraduate advisors from participating institutions and students can ask questions that are relevant to their individual interests and needs.

Typically, this transfer fair is held in person at Copper Mountain College in the fall and about 20-25 universities RSVP to attend each year. This virtual fair actually offers more variety for our students. We are very grateful and excited to be partnering with other Inland Empire community colleges to bring this fair to our students.”

Students may register for this free event at Eventbrite.com. Search for “2021 Virtual University Transfer Fair” or through https://bit.ly/2VPFadu to see the full list of participating schools. With more than 2.1 million students at 116 colleges, the California Community Colleges is the largest system of higher education in the country. One in every four community college students in the nation attends a California community college.
