For the last 60 years, the Our Promise: California State Employees Giving at Work campaign has shown a commitment and dedication to California communities; its impact is truly historic and has been the single largest effort among state employees to support nonprofit organizations.

This is our promise to California. Our Promise speaks clearly to the past and an ongoing pledge to help those in need across the state.

Contributing to Our Promise is your investment, as a State employee, in the lives of your neighbors and community through eligible 501(c)(3) nonprofits including Copper Mountain College Foundation (CMCF) in Joshua Tree. This is truly a campaign that can benefit our own community.

There is no better way to help local college students achieve their educational goals than by electing for a payroll deduction. The consistent cash flow allows the Foundation to provide support through programs and services, for Copper Mountain College students, that change lives.

You can spread your gift throughout the year with the convenient option of payroll deduction for as little as $5 a month. Monthly recurring donations allow nonprofits to leverage their dollars further.

Consider a contribution through Our Promise. Together, our contributions support the long and proud history of fulfilling our promise, and together our financial contributions can create a fresh and vibrant future with new opportunities, connections, and participation for years to come.

The campaign will run from September 1st through October 31st. To contribute go to Our Promise or for more information, feel free to contact a member of your department’s Our Promise campaign team or Sandy Smith, Executive Director of CMCF at 760.366.5296 or ssmith@cmccd.edu.
