Copper Mountain College Spring 2020 Figure Drawing students took their art show virtual. Socially Distanced…
CMC’s talented, and very human, student artists from the college’s Art Department will be featured at Human Made: Artistic Intelligence, coming to Copper Mountain College on Saturday, May 9, 2026. This CMC student art exhibition celebrates the creative process and tactile techniques, from drypoint intaglio etchings, subtractive charcoal drawings, to layered oil paintings.
The show includes written and visual meditations from student artists on the ramifications of AI-use. This show features only human-made artwork and is an affirmation from student artists on the importance of the creative process, free from AI. The opening exhibition will also feature live readings from HOWL, CMC’s art and literary magazine.
The student art exhibit and HOWL showcase and open mic will be held Saturday, May 9, 2026, from 3:30 to 6 p.m. in the Bagley Room inside of the Greenleaf Library, located at the 300 Quad on the CMC campus.
