Biography
Derek Monypeny received his Masters degree in Library and Information Science from the University of Arizona in 1998. He has been a professional librarian for over 20 years, working in public, academic and specialized libraries in the San Francisco Bay Area and the Pacific Northwest before touching down in the High Desert in 2018.
Derek lives in Yucca Valley with his partner and 3 cats. Derek enjoys hiking, traveling and the opportunity to help CMC students succeed.
