‘Yotie

Ed Kabotie in concert at CMC in 2023

A documentary feature about Hopi/Tewa singer/songwriter/artist/activist Ed Kabotie, and his rock/reggae band, Tha ‘Yoties, and the issues that have them howling. Featuring footage from CMC from the inaugural Howlin’ at the Mountain concert in 2023, to Howlin’ at the Mountain 3 on October 11, 2025, and additional shoots from the Grand Canyon region, this documentary will promote CMC as a culturally important hub for the Joshua Tree region, as per the college’s Vision Statement: Copper Mountain College will be the educational and cultural center of the Morongo Basin.

Be a part of this inspiring cultural journey and help us bring ‘Yotie to an international audience!

A limited number of PBS-structured sponsorships are available with an approximate 10-second sponsor announcement at the beginning and end of the feature. These must be evergreen (to be relevant for a minimum of five years of broadcast viewing), and must conform to PBS standards.

Renewable distribution agreements will be made to allow broadcast of ‘Yotie for up to five years on PBS and FNX. PBS reaches an audience of more than 130 million people annually, with approximately 100 million broadcast viewers monthly, and tens of millions of viewers who stream videos from PBS’s website and mobile apps. In general, PBS viewers are more likely to be highly educated, professional, with higher incomes. PBS inspires a higher level of trust for sponsors who promote themselves on the platform, and tends to deliver a higher ROI than commercial stations.

Would your business or organization benefit from years of promotion on a highly trusted and respected platform?
