The Copper Mountain College Classified Senate represents and advocates for Classified Staff while supporting student success through collaboration, leadership development, and participation in shared governance.

Role in Shared Governance

In accordance with California community college participatory governance principles, the Classified Senate provides a formal structure for Classified Staff to participate in institutional planning and decision-making. The Senate ensures that the perspectives and expertise of Classified Staff are represented in matters that affect the college community.
