The scholarship will pay for tuition, books and fees plus living expenses while Mountz attends Copper Mountain College. In addition, those same expenses will be paid while she attends a University to complete a baccalaureate degree.

Endowed by local banker F. Roy Greenleaf Jr., the scholarship is awarded each year to a promising student that is interested in learning, is success oriented, has performed well in school, and shows a desire to return to the Morongo Basin upon completion of her education. “I have an unmatched love and passion for bettering the community that has raised me,” Lindsey said, who aspires to become a high school biology teacher, preferably in the Morongo Basin.
