HOWL Writer’s Workshop
March 3 @ 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm

The 2023 HOWL is accepting submissions of prose, poetry, photography and art through April 7 for consideration for inclusion and publication in the 2023 edition of HOWL, Copper Mountain College’s literary magazine. Submissions should be emailed to rgurley@cmccd.edu. Students, faculty, staff, administration and members of the communities Copper Mountain College serves are encouraged to submit their work. There is no cost to submit work for consideration. The 2023 HOWL will be printed in full color to allow for the full appreciation of the artwork selected.
The CMC Literary Society and HOWL have a series of workshops set for Fridays from February 10 to March 24 (not on February 17 due to holiday) from 2 to 4 p.m. in Room 101 on the CMC campus. Workshops are open to students and community members and will provide space for participants to get constructive feedback on their work. Each workshop will be led by a different desert writer who will share the wisdom that’s helped them on the writer’s journey. Come for one workshop or all of them.
A local writer will be featured each week to share their experience and tips. Student and community writers are encouraged to bring work for constructive feedback and inspiration.
