Copper Mountain College’s Cultural Education Enhancement Committee (CEEC) invites you to celebrate the cultural tradition of El Dia De Los Muertos Celebration (Day of the Dead) on Friday, November 1, 2019 from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm in the 300 quad at CMC. This event is free and open to the public.
El Dia De Los Muertos (Day of the Dead) is a time to demonstrate love and respect for deceased family members. While the holiday originated in Mexico, it is celebrated all over Latin America with colorful calaveras (skulls) and calacas (skeletons). Enjoy $1.00 tacos at Bruce’s Place, art displays, sugar skull face-painting, crafts, music by El Es DJ and more.
