Copper Mountain College Foundation is proud to facilitate the Deavah C. Woodley Memorial RN Scholarship. Recently at our Presidents’ Circle luncheon, Gene Woodley presented Mireya Escalante a plaque to signify receiving the scholarship given in memory of his late wife. Copper Mountain College nursing graduates took good care of Deavah in her final days at the Continuing Care Center and together they decided they would make more fabulous nurses by funding this full ride scholarship. The Deavah C. Woodley Memorial RN Scholarship will allow Mireya to complete her two year RN program at CMC.
