The Copper Mountain Community College District Board of Trustees is currently soliciting applications for residents wishing to serve as an appointed member of the Board of Trustees representing Trustee Area 5 for a two-year term, commencing at the February 2023 Board Meeting.
Applicants must reside in Trustee Area 5 of the District and meet all legal requirements to serve, including being of 18 years of age, a citizen of the State of California, a registered voter, and not be disqualified from holding civil office by the Constitution or any state law.
The Board of Trustees adopted a By-Trustee Area election process in December 2021, dividing the District into five Trustee Areas for election purposes.

Candidate names must be received no later than Tuesday, January 31, 2023, at 5 p.m. to be considered for appointment. The Board of Trustees will interview applicants, deliberate, and determine whether to make an appointment during the public Board Meeting in February.
