Super Bloom: A CMC Student Showcase, hosts Closing Artist Reception May 13

The closing reception for Super Bloom takes place at Taylor Junction on Saturday, May 13, 2023, from 5 to 7 p.m., and includes a live painting demonstration by Professor Chloe Allred, and a live marbling paper/textiles demo by Professor Heather Jones.  This will be the last opportunity to view the massive student art exhibition and purchase works of art that are for sale.  It is also an excellent opportunity to learn more about the art offerings at Copper Mountain College and meet professors from the Art Department.

CMC debuts new campus maps this spring

CMC debuts new campus maps this spring

Copper Mountain College has updated the college’s campus map.  The previous map had been in use for a decade or longer and many changes took place on campus during that period, making a new map imperative for the college.  For the job, CMC turned to Lovell Johns, a leading UK mapmaker.

A version of this campus map that highlights the college’s art installations will be produced soon, followed by an interactive map for the new CMC website, set to debut this summer.
