Athletic Booster Club at Copper Mountain College

Copper Mountain College Foundation’s campaign to establish an Athletic Booster Club at CMC is in full swing with 40 charter members already committed to the $500 lifetime membership fee.

The most recent charter member is the Classified Senate of Copper Mountain College. The employee group includes all classified employees, which voted unanimously to become charter members of the Booster Club. Jared Zwicker, Vice-President of Classified Senate said, “Having lived in the Morongo Basin most of my life, it is so exciting to see growth and positive progress on our campus.”

The College recently announced the development of its much anticipated extracurricular athletic program.
Jeff A. Cummings, Superintendent/President said “I am very impressed by the Classified Senate’s proactive support to bring intercollegiate Men’s and Women’s Basketball to Copper Mountain College! Our Foundation is working hard to make the program a reality through raising funds and the Classified Senate is helping in a big way by becoming a charter member of the Booster Club!”

CMC is planning to launch intercollegiate Men’s and Women’s Basketball teams in the fall of 2017. If you are interested in becoming a lifetime charter member, contact the CMC Foundation at 760-366-3791 ext. 4200.
