Tutoring ~ Learning Resource Center (LRC)

Copper Mountain College’s Learning Resource Center, or LRC, offers tutoring in many subjects for all enrolled students, free of charge. Staffed by both student and faculty tutors, the LRC provides one-on-one, walk-in assistance with homework, lessons, concepts, major assignments, and study skills.  No appointment is needed. Simply walk into the Bagley Room (located in the front right corner of Greenleaf Library), and LRC staff will assist you. To find a specific subject or tutor, consult the current schedule here. The LRC is open from 8am – 7pm Mondays through Thursdays, and 8am—3pm on Fridays.

While the LRC welcomes all enrolled students, students enrolled in special programs such as ACCESS and EOPS/CARE should talk to their counselor about additional tutoring opportunities.

If you have questions or comments about your experience in the LRC, or if you are interested in becoming a tutor, please contact Basic Skills Coordinator Elizabeth Wyatt at ewyatt@cmccd.edu.
