Speech & Debate (AKA: Forensics Team)

Speech & Debate Team in conjunction with 8 CMC Clubs Presents:
    The Fall Ball Costume Dance

What we do? It's not just debate! We get together and perform pieces of literature, prose, poetry, drama and more! If you are an actor, performer, or love to entertain there are events for you. We write speeches and help speech students write and deliver their speeches better for their classes or competition. The team teaches you how to research, write, keep up with current events, and organize arguments. We travel to various tournaments in Los Angeles, San Diego, and Orange County on the weekends. Members are at various levels, if you don't want to perform or debate, you can help behind the scenes. We need members to participate in fundraisers, organization, and public relations. If you want more information, email Reyna at rvelarde@cmccd.edu.

    Meeting Days/Time:

Tuesdays- by appointment(3pm-5:30pm), sign up at Faculty Office 203 for a 30 minute appointment with Reyna.
Thursdays- 3pm-6pm Debate Practice. Come on by and see what we do in Room 104, Phase I. Please email Reyna if you plan on stopping by, so she can bring you a membership information packet.
