COPPER MOUNTAIN COLLEGE TO HOST UNIVERSITY DAY

JOSHUA TREE, Ca – Copper Mountain College will host its annual University Day on October 12th from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. for students interested in transferring to or attending a four-year college or university.

Each year Copper Mountain College hosts a variety of Cal State, University of California and Private Colleges on the campus.  This offers current CMC students and the community an opportunity to discuss transfer requirements, scholarships, tuition fees, housing, majors, internships and any other vital information about the colleges and universities.

”University Day provides CMC students and our community a unique occasion to interact with representatives from 4-year institutions as they are gathered in one location to meet potential students”, said Greg Chestermen CMC counselor. In addition, “community members and high school students seeking 4-year programs can speak with the different representatives and gather a variety of information without leaving the area.”

In attendance this year will be California State University San Bernardino’s Palm Desert Campus, University of Riverside, University of California, Davis, Chapman University, Cleveland Chiropractic College of L.A., Loma Linda University, Kaplan University, National University, Sierra Nevada College and many more.
