COPPER MOUNTAIN COLLEGE PARTNERS TO BRING WATER WISE WORKSHOP TO BASIN
JOSHUA TREE, Ca –Copper Mountain College is proud to partner with the Alliance for Water Awareness and Conservation, Hi-Desert Water District, Joshua Basin Water District, Bighorn-Desert View Water Agency, and the Town of Yucca Valley who have all partnered to bring another series of Water Wise Landscaping Workshops to the Morongo Basin.
Each one-day, five hour class format on Water Wise High Desert Landscaping will be taught by Robin Kobaly of SummerTree Institute. Robin makes learning about desert landscaping fun, offering a wealth of knowledge and experience. Mike Branning of Unique Nursery will also share some of his expertise to round off this information packed session. Don’t miss this opportunity to become your own desert landscape expert. There is more to landscaping in the desert than one can imagine.
Choose from two dates, Saturday, March 21 from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Yucca Valley Community Center or Wednesday, March 25 from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Joshua Tree Community Center. SummerTree is asking for a $25 donation for materials payable at the door. You will receive a notebook full of reference materials. No reservation is required; simply show up the day of the event to register.
