Ribbon Cutting Celebration at Copper Mountain College.

    March 5, 2013

Copper Mountain College Foundation, in cooperation with Twentynine Palms, Joshua Tree and Yucca Valley Chambers of Commerce, is proud to host an evening of thanks to our generous Morongo Basin community on Wednesday, March 20, 2013 from 5 to 7 p.m., in the Alumni Courtyard (Phase 3) of Copper Mountain College.

In November of 2004, voters in the Copper Mountain Community College District approved a $19,720,000 bond Measure C allowing the College to expand, improve and renovate college facilities for students.  The final project, renovation of the Greenleaf Library, has been completed.  During the ribbon cutting ceremony and celebration Phi Theta Kappa Honors Society Students will be offering tours of the newly remodeled Library and McDonald Hall, our Student Services Building.

This event is free and open to the public.  There will be Community Education Class demonstrations as well as some of CMC’s Student clubs showcasing various student activities that take place on campus.  There will be refreshments served in Bruce’s Coyote Kitchen.  Please stop by for this joyous event so we can say, “Thank you” for making your community college a better place for our students.

                                                                               Take the next step!
