Copper Mountain College Presents the RGB Multimedia Competition and the 2nd Annual Student Art Show on May 4, 2012.

RGB Multimedia 18 will begin at 1 p.m. in the Bell Center Community Room. It will be a presentation of student digital slide shows, video, and Flash-animation shorts. In its ninth year, CMC students can compete for cash awards. The RGB of the event’s title refers to the primary colors of light; red, green, and blue which when mixed together in displays on TV sets, computer monitors, and computer projectors form the basis of how we see digital images displayed
In conjunction the public is also invited to the kick-off reception for the Student Art Show which will be located in the Bell Center foyer from 3-6 p.m. The types of art that will be on display are new drawings, paintings, photographs, sculpture, and mixed media art-works. Tasty refreshments will be served. “The student art work is exceeding our expectations this year. We are excited, more than ever, to show their accomplishments”, says Cathy Allen, Fine Arts instructor. The artworks will be on display and for sale from May 1st through the14th, with daily viewing hours from 12-5 p.m.
