The deadline to get your Titanic Tickets is April 16, 2012 by 5:00 p.m. Tickets for passage per person are $100 for first class “accommodations” including a nine-course meal, $50 for second class with a six course dinner and third class tickets are $10. Copper Mountain College is hosting this evening as a “not to be missed” community event. Guests are encouraged to attend in “Edwardian” dress or early 20th century circa 1912 clothing. For costume rental, ticket information and updates check: www.cmccd.edu/Titanic or call the Titanic information line at 760-366-9791, extension 1912.

“This is sure to be an exciting event.  It is not often that we are able to combine student led fundraising with an actual historical event. The sinking of the Titanic captured the attention of the world in 1912”, notes Dr. Roger Wagner, Superintendent/President of Copper Mountain College.

The event is a fundraiser for CMC’s Honor Society, the Beta Rho Pi Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa, whose students are the organizing force for the event. They are assisted by CMC’s History, English and Art departments.  Funds raised will be divided among the student clubs involved.
