Copper Mountain College Partners with Brandman University for Additional Opportunities for CMC Transferring Students.
March 14, 2012
CMC’s currently enrolled students now have the opportunity to access services to Brandman University while attending CMC and taking transferable coursework. Brandman has agreed to provide academic and student services cooperatively so the transition from CMC to Brandman will be seamless for Early Advantage Program students.
This agreement allows CMC students to map out their transfer plan to Brandman while taking transferable coursework that is designed within a program-specific articulation agreement. Early Advantage Program students can take Brandman classes as needed to ensure a timely completion of their Associates Degree at CMC. Coursework will be directly applied to the student’s Brandman Academic Program. Early Advantage Program students must have completed at least 12 transferable credits at CMC with a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0 from all schools previously attended. “In this economy and competitive secondary educational environment, this is a wonderful option for our students. Brandman is an established school with an excellent reputation,” says Carey Alstadt, University Transfer Coordinator at CMC.
Brandman University is one of several transferable opportunities that CMC has to offer. Please contact the CMC counselor’s office for more information at 760-366-3791 or visit www.Brandman.edu/eap/CMC.
