“Call for Artwork”

    “Call for Artwork” for the Copper Mountain College Foundation’s 14th Annual Art Auction on Saturday, February 25, 2012 at 5 pm at the Bell Center. The Community is Invited to Submit Artwork for the Event and Attend.  
    (Joshua Tree, CA. – January 27, 2012) Copper Mountain College Foundation is pleased to announce its 14th Annual Art Auction to benefit the students, programs, activities and facilities of Copper Mountain College on Saturday, February 25, 2012 at 5 pm at the Bell Center on the Copper Mountain College campus. Tickets are $15 per person/$25 per couple and are available at the door. Hors d’oeuvres and a hosted bar are included in this special evening.
    All local artists including area residents, students, and CMC faculty and staff are asked to submit a variety of artwork to the CMC Foundation for both the live and silent auctions held during the evening. “Whether you are looking for that special piece, redecorating your home or searching for the perfect gift, the Art Auction has a variety of pieces in a range of mediums from local artists,” notes Sandy Smith, Executive Director of Copper Mountain College Foundation.  
    Artists donating their work include:  Helen Matoush, local gourd artist; Mike Smiley, jewelry and steel sculptures; Tami Roleff, Kelly O'Sullivan, photography, Maria Perez, oil painting and Mikal Winn, jewelry. This is a wonderful opportunity to support CMC and purchase an original art piece at affordable prices.
