On Sunday, November 20th at 2pm, Copper Mountain College Foundation’s 2nd Annual Festival of Wreaths Event takes place at The Bell Center at Copper Mountain College. The afternoon includes a wine and cheese reception followed by a “Live Auction” with CMC’s President, Dr. Roger Wagner as auctioneer.
A variety of custom created wreaths sponsored and decorated by local businesses, service organizations and individuals will be auctioned off. Many of these elaborately decorated wreaths contain valuable donated gift certificates. The wreaths will be on display during the reception and prior to the “Live Auction”. This promises to be a lively event even for those not bidding. Last year over thirty wreaths were auctioned off with bids ranging from $45 to $1,800. “The Festival of Wreaths celebration is a great opportunity for the community to share in an afternoon of wine and cheese tasting, as well as seeing some of the most beautifully handcrafted holiday wreaths you can imagine. I encourage the entire community to come and see the wreaths
and watch the exciting live auction,” notes Dr. Wagner. Proceeds from the auction benefit Copper Mountain College.
Tickets can be purchased at the following locations prior to the event: Libby’s Realty in Twentynine Palms, Z107.7 Radio Station in Joshua Tree, Hi-Desert Star Newspaper in Yucca Valley and the Copper Mountain College Foundation Office at the College.
