Register Now for Fall Fitness and Weight Management Classes through Copper Mountain College’s Community Education Department.

    Copper Mountain College’s Community Education Department, in its mission to serve the community, is offering two different nine week courses in weight management and physical fitness. Both run from October 7th to December 16th.  They will be held in the Bell Center Weight Room at CMC.  Register at CMC’s student services office at 6162 Rotary Way on the CMC Campus or phone 760-366-3791.     The Supervised Gym Use Class features instruction on proper gym use and safety, yet allows attendees to design and implement their own workout in the Bell Center Weight Room. Under the guidance of an ACE and AFAA certified personal trainer, attendees will use the weight room and cardio equipment. This class involves 15 minutes of instructional time followed by an hour to be used in an individualized tailored workout. It is from 4:30 to 5:45 pm and meets every Friday from October 7th to December 16th. The cost is $27.
    The Weight Management Class covers the facts behind real and sustained weight management. Class will follow a lecture and workout format that will be both informative and fun! Class will be taught by a Personal Trainer and Lifestyle Management Coach. The class follows the Supervised Gym Class and meets every Friday from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. The cost is $85.
