Copper Mountain College (CMC) is renowned as the college built by the people. The College’s first phase was funded entirely with local private funds and subsequent phases with substantial private help. Now governed by its own locally elected board of trustees, CMC's road to independence was accelerated by legislative action in recognition of the college's uniquely strong local support. Copper Mountain College Foundation is dedicated to maximizing educational opportunities for local residents by supporting the programs, facilities and activities of Copper Mountain Community College District. The Foundation is excited about commemorating its thirty years of friends at this special gala event.
