Copper Mountain College Foundation Hosts Arts & Crafts Fair at the Joshua Tree Rotary Club’s 4th Annual “Taste of Morongo Basin” at the Copper Mountain College’s Bell Center on Friday, September 9, 2011 from 6-9 pm.

The Copper Mountain College Foundation is partnering with the Joshua Tree Rotary Club at the 4th annual Taste of Morongo Basin.
This highly anticipated and well attended community event will be held at the CMC’s Bell Center on Friday, September 9, 2011 from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Copper Mountain College Foundation is hosting the event’s first Arts and Crafts Fair. “The Foundation is excited and very pleased to partner with the Joshua Tree Rotary Club on this. We see it as a great event and hope that by us adding the arts and crafts portion that it will enhance the experience for the Community”, notes Sandy Smith, Executive Director of the Copper Mountain College Foundation.
Twenty local artists and artisans will display and sell their work during the evening. Arts and crafts for sale include; ceramics, watercolor paintings, wood burning art pieces, jewelry, hand-made soap, dolls, hand-crafted baby items and children’s clothing.
Ten percent of the Arts and Crafts proceeds benefit the Copper Mountain College Foundation. This was a sold-out event last year. “This is the first time we have done this and we expect it to be a wonderful evening of food and art,” adds Smith.
