Copper Mountain College Foundation administers the F. Roy Greenleaf Education Fund, through which a local high school senior is selected each year to receive a full college education scholarship (tuition, fees, and living expenses) that continue throughout the scholar's education at Copper Mountain College and later undergraduate studies elsewhere.

The original Greenleaf Scholarship was awarded in  2002 thanks to the generosity of F. Roy Greenleaf, Jr., a local banker and benefactor who gave his estate to the CMC Foundation to help local deserving students achieve their educational goals. He wanted to assist students who possessed a strong determination to succeed as well as demonstrated a desire to help others in school, family and the Morongo Basin.

Applications are submitted annually and a recipient is named in the spring of each year. Applications for graduating seniors to apply for the Greenleaf Scholarship will be available from area high school counselors in December and online.
