How to Apply

  1. Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) code: 035424

a.    Student needs a Personal Identification Number (PIN) -- www.pin.ed.gov

  • Student’s official name

  • Student’s Social Security number

  • Birth date

b.    Parent who signs the FAFSA also needs a PIN if the student is dependent

  1. Copper Mountain College (CMC) Financial Aid Data Sheet

  2. *Supplemental items if picked for* Verification such as Federal Tax Return, W-2’s, proof of untaxed income and benefits


When to Apply

  1. Earliest date to apply is January 1st

  2. March 2nd deadline for California grants

  3. Early Action is needed for early award letters

How do I remain eligible for Financial Aid?

  1. Keep 2.0 cumulative Grade Point Average

  2. Pass 67% of classes enrolled in at census

  3. Complete degree with in 150% needed credits (90 for A.A.)

Monday - Thursday  8:15am to 6:00pm
Fridays                       8:15am to 3:00pm

We are closed on all legal and college holidays.  (08-09 CMC Holiday Schedule)
