Copper Mountain College Desert Studies provides a unique learning environment for everyone in order to promote the study of desert living: desert ecosystems, desert cultures, and sustainable desert practices.

Desert Studies Overview:

Desert Studies consists of several components. First of all, for the general public interested in taking classes for personal advancement, Desert Studies offers many Community Education workshops through its Sustainable Living Center. For students seeking to improve or expand on their vocational skills, Desert Studies will soon offer two Vocational Certificate programs, one in Wind Turbine Technology and one in Solar Energy. For students wishing to get an Associate's Degree, the college offers a transfer Associate of Science degree in Environmental Studies. In addition, the college regularly offers classes with desert and/or environmental focus.
