DSPS Accomplishments 2008-2009

• DSPS served  223 students with disabilities in Fall 2008

• In the fall of 2008 there were 91 students on the Honor Roll with 3.0 GPA or higher

• In the fall of 2008 there were 16 students on the Dean’s List with a GPA of 3.5 to 4.0

• An Awards Banquet is held every Spring and Fall to honor DSPS students with a 3.0 or higher GPA and is generously sponsored by I.H.E.P.Some 
  

• DSPS students participate in Associated Students of Copper Mountain College (ASCMC).

• Some DSPS students participate in the Transfer Empowerment Program (TEP) 

• DSPS students have graduated and transferred  to 4-year universities such as CSUSB, UC Berkeley, U of North Dakota, UNA, and UNLV

• DSPS students are actively involved in vocational programs including Automotive and Nursing

• DSPS students receive various scholarships for both Copper Mountain College and 4-year universities

• DSPS students are actively involved in community outreach programs
