Classified Senate Annual Bowl-A-Thon 2009

The Classified Senate participates annually in fundraising activities, such as the Bowl-A-Thon, which are devoted to providing scholarships to CMC students. In addition, the Senate also raises money through various creative ideas of its members. This money is used to put on occasional get-togethers and support of our Classified Staff and the campus community.

As a member of The Community College League of California, one or two Senate representatives participate in an annual conference in Lake Tahoe. At this conference they have the opportunity to:

• Recognize and celebrate the classified role in educating and serving community college students;

• Exchange ideas and information with colleagues, further develop a network of positive communication among classified leaders; 

• Discover and develop personal leadership skills; 

• Encourage and support active participation from every attendee
  

The Executive Board meets on the 2nd Tuesday of each month at noon in Bruce's Coyote Kitchen.

The General Classified Senate meets on the 3rd Tuesday of the month and is open to all Classified Staff members. Please bring your lunch.

Either or both meetings may be canceled at any time.
